CORE Founder and President Charles Crosby devotes much of his free time to the Construction Education Foundation of Georgia (CEFGA). It is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, founded in 1993 by leading construction presidents and CEOs who recognized a need for quality construction skills training in Georgia.

One of my passions is working with our youth to expose them to what may become life career choice. And a skilled trade is just a viable career as a more traditional “office” career. In my local community I work with the individual schools and teachers to allow our youth (our future) to explore various careers in the skilled trades, primarily construction, but most importantly what they find exciting and engaging. I also have the privilege of working with CEFGA, Construction Education Foundation of Georgia, and organizing and facilitating the annual SkillsUSA State Championships for the construction related contests which is a part of the Career Expo with over 8,000 attendees.

CORE’s discipline is not only to strike a balance in the pursuits of the project team but also to insure the environment is respected and protected through sustainable design and construction practices. Those responsible for facility construction and maintenance must respond to today’s evolving technologies. CORE and its associates are dedicated to the advancement of the functional application of sustainable project management practices.
