One of my passions is working with our youth to expose them to what may become life career choice. And a skilled trade is just a viable career as a more traditional “office” career. In my local community I work with the individual schools and teachers to allow our youth (our future) to explore various careers in the skilled trades, primarily construction, but most importantly what they find exciting and engaging. I also have the privilege of working with CEFGA, Construction Education Foundation of Georgia, and organizing and facilitating the annual SkillsUSA State Championships for the construction related contests which is a part of the Career Expo with over 8,000 attendees.
